Job Description:
We are\u00A0seeking a Senior Oracle DBA to manage a large scale environment, supporting all environment builds, including design, capacity planning, cluster setup, performance tuning and ongoing monitoring.\u00A0 The ideal candidate must have strong technical, organization, and communication skills.\u00A0 The candidate is\u00A0required to perform Oracle on and off premise(Cloud) database administration activities.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Expertise with Oracle database administration
Expertise in Oracle RAC, backup and recovery strategies
Good Knowledge in OEM
Expertise in backup & recovery and migration using RMAN, Datapump, Snap and Clones
Oracle database build using ASM / NSF on RAC/Non-RAC
Shell scripting experience\u00A0
Good Experience in Linux\u00A0
Working knowledge in Cloud Support
Knowledge of Agile methodology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact with application owners/developers and/or technical staff
Ability to complete tasks and produce appropriate deliverables within project time schedules
Must be organized, self-motivated and be able to participate in the knowledge transfer to other team members
Work effectively with others in a team environment
Carry work mobile and provide 24X7 Support, On Call Schedule participation
Must document all work in ticketing system and manage tickets in their queue.
Experience with Exadata, ZFS, CommVault, and open-source databases
The Value You Deliver
Perform regular maintenance of the Oracle databases including backups, restores, data pump, archiving, and review of logs for errors or potential problems.
Database creation, upgrade and patching.
Regularly review space capacity and perform tasks to manage space usage through archiving or increasing disk space\u00A0
Responsible for database monitoring, troubleshooting
Participation in Disaster Recovery drills
Participation in on call support
Identify and participate in automation opportunities.

The CAPE DBA team is responsible for the maintenance, support, and evolution of the Data Environments in Fidelity Investments.
