DevOps Specialist - Azure

Our UniQue Team is growing and in our amazing team, we are looking for a DevOps Specialist (Azure) to join us. You will be working on a number of exciting projects in a challenging, dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
• Develop and utilise CI/CD dashboards for project monitoring, control and reporting
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Building and setting up infrastructure
• Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 2 technical support
• Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience
• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
• Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
• Develop scripts to automate visualization
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
• Testing and examining code written by others and analysing results
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
• Working with software developers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended

Requirements

• Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevOps Specialist or in a similar software engineering role
• Solid experience in designing and implementing complex DevOps solutions
• Extensive experience in delivering, configuring and optimising CI/CD pipelines and following CI/CD best practices and methods
• Long experience in use of testing and automation in one or several technologies and tools (Azure DevOps)
• Expertise in the following technical tools: Jenkins, Ansible, artifactory, Git.
• Experience in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
• Very good understanding of containerization solutions and automation of deployment, scaling and management of containerised applications (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Familiar with developing/maintaining scripts and applications using shells
• Experience in applications monitoring deployed into cloud environments including hybrid cloud
• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
• Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments
• Excellent knowledge of English language
• Capability of working in an international/ multicultural environment
