What you’ll do 

TJX Architecture and technology is spearheading the global digital transformation of the organization. We partner with our product teams, capture strategy, assess the current state capabilities, establish future state needs, create roadmap leveraging cutting edge components such as Cloud, DevOps, Intelligent Automation, Integrations, and usher in the next generation technology solutions that power business capabilities for the organization.

TJX is seeking a DevSecOps Engineering Leader to join our organization as we grow and transform our technology landscape.  Your core responsibilities include leading DevSecOps transformation strategy, platform roadmaps, end to end SDLC process improvements, and leading communities of practice for our DevSecOps Transformation and adoption Program. You will partner with operations, security, cloud, solution architecture and delivery teams to drive adoption of DevSecOps practices and platform. 

As a leader in DevSecOps platform team, you will manage TJX CI/CD automated pipelines, drive contribution to and adoption of enterprise pipelines, transition existing custom pipelines to enterprise approved pipelines and ensure that delivery teams have a positive experience where they are empowered and enabled to get work done quickly with as little friction and toil as possible. 

You will have exciting opportunities to impact global teams by driving and promoting DevSecOps and engineering mindset. You will lead the design, development and implementation of reusable patterns, practices, quality gates, pipeline templates, etc. to enable all delivery teams are empowered to quickly build and deliver software (value to business) with end-to-end automation. You will operate in a center of excellence context where we provide horizontal support across all the delivery teams across TJX and encourage teams to adopt and contribute back to the development and evolution of solution delivery pipelines. A key goal is providing self-service capabilities to engineers to eliminate hand-offs and empower teams to collaborate, build and deliver fast. 

What you’ll need 

We seek technical team members with domain expertise and excellent interpersonal skills, as our positions rely heavily on communication with key stakeholders in both business and engineering realms.  You'll be part of influencing a multi-year roadmap for delivering enterprise-grade DevSecOps strategy. 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Successfully led teams through major project engagements that involves Agile & DevOps cultural changes in the client ecosystem. 3+ years leading and developing teams as manager 
• 7+ years overall experience covering Application development, Architecture, Quality Assurance and Production support in an agile environment 
• 3+ years industry experience in DevOps architecture related to Continuous Integration/Delivery solutions & Platform Automation. 
• 3+ years of application security experience including architecture, design, testing, and education in an agile environment 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Advanced leadership skills including the ability to leverage internal networks across engineering and engage with other leaders to solve problems and develop strong credibility throughout the company as well as choose the most critical engineering challenges and work to improve the entire engineering organization by teaching others and sharing knowledge while creating opportunities for others to showcase and develop skills. 
• Strong communicator who possesses the ability to describe technology concepts in ways the business can understand, document effectively so that systems/architectures can be maintained or built upon 
• Demonstrated experience leading teams to build CI/CD pipelines for multiple technology stacks, experience with Blue/Green and Canary deploys, experience with Git (either GitHub or GitLab or both) and experience helping teams to transition from custom or no pipelines. The ability to work across multiple teams in the context of a COE, CoP is highly desirable. 
• Proven track history of taking complex delivery problems and creating leaner, more collaborative solutions. 
• Demonstrates and understanding of the cultural and behavior changes required to improve our software delivery practices.
