Constant is looking for an enthusiastic and detailed-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Solutions Engineer.

Our highly engaged Solutions Engineering team at Constant is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer who will report into the Director, Solutions Engineering and will be responsible for engaging potential new and existing customers by partnering with Vultr Direct Sales and Channel Partners to grow Vultr. The ideal candidate is collegial, collaborative, and excited to lead customer engagements as a Technical Subject Matter Expert and grow Vultr’s capabilities by assembling Technical Resources such as Reference Architectures and White Papers. Our team’s mission is to extend Vultr’s lead as the premier Cloud Infrastructure Provider and we believe that delivering compelling alternatives to Hyperscalars enable our customers’ growth and success. What you will take on:

  • This is a unique role working with Sales and Channel Partners to complete Account and Technical Discovery and Qualification.
  • Create innovative Solutions and Architectures to solve complex Customer Business use cases.
  • Establish relationships within Customers independent of Account Executives.
  • Deliver Technical Bill of Materials to enable quoting of Solutions.
  • Drive Pricing analysis to sustain and grow Vultr financial success.
  • Partner with Technical Marketing to deliver best in class Collateral to share with potential customers and growing existing customers to enable their expansion with Vultr.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to deliver Voice of Customer to enable continued future customer success.

Our new team member will need:

  • A collegial and collaborative approach working across Departments and Seniority levels within Vultr’s Customers and Vultr.
  • Formal Sales training with approaches including Winning by Design, Sandler, etc.
  • Subject Matter Expertise in Cloud IaaS including but not limited to Cloud Compute, Cloud GPU, and Bare Metal Servers.
  • Demonstrated experience with Compute Orchestration technologies including Kubernetes, Terraform, VMWare, Rancher, etc.
  • Proficiency with API created and driven Infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code.
  • Comprehend global internetworking and local networking infrastructure and concepts including OSI Model, Dynamic and Static IP Routing, BGP, VLANs/VXLANs, Peering, Network as a Service Providers.

Salary Range: $120-140K

This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.
