Job Description
Ongoing management of configuration and layout of the storage infrastructure as well as periodic analysis of the environment following best practices. Responsible for ongoing storage recommendations, capacity planning and best practices, as applicable, for the following areas: business continuity, high availability, backup, recovery and archiving. Provides reach-back to various storage vendor technical support. Communicates with other project personnel, overseers, and leadership. Provide technical leadership and is responsible for the development of new storage infrastructure and Information Lifecycle Management designs, including requirements and analysis. Performs end to end analysis on the performance of the storage infrastructure, presents findings, and submits recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
TS/SCI with poly required
- Twenty (20) years' experience in overall storage operations or storage architecture.
- Of that, ten (10) years of experience must in the specific storage technology that is in the customer environment.
- Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree from an accredited university in CS, IS, SE, or related field is required.
- NetApp & Pure Storage (NAS).
