Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for a System Integration and Workflow Specialist fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in on site at customer premises or remotely from Ireland. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.


Your tasks

  • Design, plan, implement integration strategies and patterns in a JEE/HTTP secured ecosystem;
  • Apply best practices of distributed architecture to solve complex integration problems between information systems;
  • Design, implement and document APIs to be exposed in a secured manner on a public facing API Gateway;
  • Design, implement and document business events to be easily produced on a corporate event-streaming platform and consumed by any system;
  • Design, plan, implement and deploy workflows: business process definition and task definition (service or user tasks) relying on APIs and business events;
  • Work in a container-based infrastructure.

Requirements

  • University degree in IT combined with a minimum of 13 years of relevant professional experience;
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in HTTP and API design;
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in JEE and REST or SOAP APIs;
  • A minimum of 6 years in distributed or micro service architectures and complex event processing;
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in Web security, OAuth2.0 and OpenID Connect;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in at least one BPMN workflow engine;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in asynchronous communication and publish/subscribe techniques and technologies: Apache Kafka, JMS;
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in integration testing best practices;
  • A minimum of 3 years in Docker, Kubernetes and cloud native architectures;
  • Certificates at the following areas: JEE, Security, Business Process Management, Workflow Patterns, Micro Service Architectures And Patterns, Domain Driven Design, Enterprise Integration Patterns, Complex event processing and API design will be considered an asset;
  • Excellent command of the English language.
