Your future duties and responsibilities
As a Cloud Architect in the emerging technology practice, you will work with other cloud, enterprise, solution, and data architects to understand which new technologies and solutions should be investigated and how they would benefit various clients and/or sectors. You will help write technical briefings, evangelize the benefits of a given technology, work with marketing to generate white papers, and collaborate with the account teams to create industry-leading strategies, solutions, and offerings with a focus on solving business problems. At times you will work with our clients to design and formulate all aspects of full or hybrid cloud migration design and development. You will be accountable for and apply proven expertise of resiliency, automation, application rationalization, modernization, and retirement within a cloud architecture all with a focus on composability and cost-effectiveness.

Your expertise in cloud-native strategy, design, development, security, Agile, continuous deployment, automation, and DevSecOps will be instrumental in enabling our client to achieve their objectives. You will bring lessons learned and expertise from leading successful migrations and development of open source-based applications in the cloud.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 10+ years' experience across infrastructure, data-center, and cloud architectures
• Experience in working closely with Customer's technical leads, engineering teams and architecture stakeholders for technical issues and architecture framework capabilities for use by other development teams
• Hold advanced certifications with at least 2 cloud service providers (Google and Azure or AWS)
• Strong technical presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in an easy to understand way
• Expertise in IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and other more discrete as a service offerings
• Expertise in cloud-native architecture that address the key principles and benefits of scalability, resiliency, manageability, observability, and automation
• Experience in service-oriented architecture, web services, and APIs
• Expertise with infrastructure as code, containerization, and DevOps methodology
• Expertise establishing legacy modernization and migration roadmaps for enterprises
• Experience with event-driven applications using queues, service bus, and other related patterns
• Experience with data platforms a plus
• Experience estimating large scale projects
• Working knowledge of an Agile methodology

Min Education Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or Information/Computer related field.

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $135,000-$217,000*

*Disclaimer: In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, effective January 1, 2021, a good faith hourly or base salary range must be posted for all positions where the work may be performed in the state of Colorado. Therefore, this good faith salary range will only apply where this described position will be performed in the state, and should not be considered the compensation range in other locations or for other positions.
