Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are making a significant investment in platforms to support our Treasury and Tax capabilities within the Finance function. You will work closely with Treasury and Tax business stakeholders to elicit business and non-functional requirements, perform gap analysis and feasibility checks, write clear and comprehensive specifications and end-user documentation, configure changes, and work with other team members to develop and execute comprehensive test plans. You will also support end-user issues and questions, troubleshoot and provide knowledge transfer to the operations team. You will be asked to develop a strong expertise in platforms such as Reval, Fides and Equus Pinpoint.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

  • Eliciting and documenting system requirements and developing a detailed understanding of system functionality in order to serve as a subject matter expert for multiple applications within the team
  • Proactively identifying and independently solving most non-routine problems by applying broad knowledge, troubleshooting system issues as they arise
  • Working independently with minimal day to day guidance, prioritizing your time and communicating clearly at all levels of the organization
  • Defining and executing multiple tasks or more complex tasks with timely, high quality results
  • Actively monitoring and resolving issues with a sense of urgency, proactively communicating to keep key stakeholders and management team informed
  • Applying Agile product delivery methodologies and principles, including work estimation techniques
  • Learning new tools and technologies with a high degree of technical competence
  • Working with multicultural distributed team located in different time zones and have the capacity to work on multiple projects concurrently.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, required. Major in Computer science, Information Systems or related field encouraged.
  • Software development experience with expert knowledge in C# and .NET framework, good knowledge in at least 1 frontend framework such as ReactJS, Angular or jQuery as well as good knowledge is one or many SQL or NoSQL platforms.
  • Experience working on various large and small-scale projects being part of various big and small dev teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of Agile concepts and DevSecOps tooling (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitHub Actions and Jira Boards)
  • Excellent understanding of cloud native solutions in Azure & AWS (Azure Logic Apps/Web Apps, AWS Lamda/MQ/etc.)
  • Experience working with cloud-based financial or operations platforms including a good understanding of integrations, APIs, single sign-on, and data visualization.
  • Experience building secure modern applications with modern architectures
  • Good understanding of security best practices from development and deployment perspective
  • Strong technical competence, with the ability to rapidly learn new tools and technologies
  • Proficiency in writing requirements in both agile user stories and traditional formats, creating end-user documentation, and showcasing (demoing) work in process to clients.
  • Proficiency in speaking, writing, reading and presenting in English is required.
  • Experience working with Treasury Management, Tax Management, or Financial applications is a plus.

A dynamic group of cross-functional global agile team-members representing Treasury, Tax, Finance, IT, and Change Management at all levels of their career. You will also support BCG users across the organization as well as BCG suppliers and business partners.
